Over years of teaching Sally Ann became increasingly aware of how the relationship between mind and body is inherent to health, and that an integrated approach to physical and emotional wellbeing could be the most effective way of working.
After working for so long with people physically and watching their bodies move and react to emotional stress Sally Ann realised that the body can be helped by resolving problems that arise in everyday life. Everyone experiences stress and a need to move forward with their lives. The issue is that for many there are too many choices and we become incapable of choosing.
Sally Ann trained with the Animas Centre for Coaching, gaining her Life Coach qualification in 2017 and has integrated her many years of movement teaching with a personal friendly coaching style to enhance the nurturing and transforming of her clients. She works with anyone facing a crossroads in their lives; be it personal or professional.
WHAT IS LIFE COACHING?
Life coaching is a collaborative conversation between the client and the coach. It is non-judgmental and non-advisory. The skill is asking the right questions which lead the client to find their own solutions, and enable them to move forward. The coaching session is totally confidential and the coach may take notes to refer to during and after the sessions. The coach will also reflect back what the client has just said and this can be a good tool for moving forward.
Sally Ann’s interest in working in combination between the physical and emotional sides of life led her to look at life coaching. She has worked with clients at various stages of their professional life (early, mid and late stage careers), providing impartial guidance.
